The idea here is inspired by the movie, "The Day The Earth Stood Still". In this movie humans are supposed to be exterminated by an alien race for the sake of our planet Earth. From the aliens' perspective it was either one of two things: let humans live and the Earth slowly die, or exterminate humans so that the Earth, one of very few planets in the cosmos capable of supporting life, could live on. This idea representing reality is just as unlikely as many other 2012 ideas and theories, but let us just assume this movie does represent reality.
If aliens were watching us right now, why not just get this done with right now? After all we seem to be doing a good job contributing to global warming, and effectively killing off our planet. Logically, and the movie seems to emphasize this - from the aliens' point of view, there is probably a "point of no return" which we have yet to reach (where as in the movie we have reached this point). By planting something in the ice caps, such a signal beacon, or even some type of "seed", be it some type of creature, machine, or even one of them in this seed, with humans sufficiently melting away the ice caps this seed would one day be exposed, and this would be the point of no return at which the aliens would make their move. Could this be a December 21st, 2012 scenario? Because this just an idea, it is solely up for you to decide.
Pictures and poll coming soon...
